Passing the Standardized Aptitude Test for Teachers (SATT) before
entering second year with a score that is equivalent to 70
percentile.
A second year cumulative GPA of 2.50 or better with no grades
lower than 3.00 including grades in NSTP.
c. Transferee and Shiftee
Transferee from other schools and shiftee from other courses within
the university shall be admitted to education program if they have a
GPA of 2.00 or better and have no grades lower than 3.00.
They are also subject to the retention policies of the university
mentioned earlier.
No transferee or shiftee shall be allowed at the third year level.
Passing an interview with the Academic Coordinator or the Campus
Dean.
They are also subject to the rules and regulations governing
transfer students and shiftee from other courses of the university.
d. Other Provisions
Computation of yearly GPA shall be based on a minimum of 42
units for first year and 84 units for second year. Computation shall
not include grades in NSTP.
SATT shall be administered to first year students during the latter
part of second semester.
Students will likewise be required to attend seminars and mock
board examination to enhance their chances of passing LET.
This policy shall cover only the teacher education program of the
Cavite State University System.
Classroom Management
Records of student’s daily attendance are filed and used for monitoring
and guidance counseling purposes. Regular class attendance is monitored
through roll calls and signed attendance. Students are also informed regarding
the University Policy on class attendance. Pure lecture and laboratory classes
are provided with appropriate floor space and other facilities. Discipline inside the
classroom in implemented the cleanliness of classroom, laboratory rooms and
other facilities of the school.
Administrative Support for Effective Instruction
The Board of Regents is the highest authority in the University. The
University President serves as the Vice Chairman of the Board and is supported
