The Department of Teacher Education is headed by a Department

chairperson, who is directly under the Campus Administrator (Figure 13). The

CvSU Naic is among the ten satellites of the University, which are under the

University President, who is a member of the Board of Regents, the highest

governing body of Cavite State University.

Outcomes-Based Education (OBE) Syllabi

All faculty members are required to prepare the OBE syllabus (Figure 14)

of the subjects that they are going to handle. The syllabi are prepared before the

start of the semester and it contains the following information:

1. Course Code

2. Course Title

3. Type of course (lecture and/or laboratory)

4. Credits Units

5. Course Description

6. Pre-requisites

7. Course Schedule
