                   BEST PRACTICES ADOPTED

                   1.     The  Bachelor  of  Science  in  Education  (BSED)  Program  is  submitted
                          periodically   to an   external evaluating body like the AACCUP to improve
                   the    quality of the  program.

                   2.     Curriculum revision of the program involves stakeholders.
                   3.     Blended  education  (combination  of  online  digital  media  with  traditional
                          classroom methods) is implemented.

                   4.     In-house trainings and seminars on teaching and learning are conducted.

                   5.     Peer teaching is encouraged to develop students’ independence.
                   6.     Strategies  like  immersion,  attendance  to  seminars  and  symposiums  are
                          encouraged  so  that  the  students  can  acquire  deeper  knowledge  in  the
                          field of education.

                   7.     Faculty  members  are  given  awards  of  distinction  by  the  university  and
                   other   awarding bodies.

                   8.     Tracer  studies  are  done  among  graduates  to  assess  the  benefits  they
                   gained        from   obtaining  from  obtaining  the  degree  and  their  job
                   performance as        evaluated by their   employer.    The  results  serve  as  bases
                   for further    improving the curricular offerings.

                   9.     Different  teaching  strategies  are  used  by  the  instructor  to  engage  their
                          students as well as improve their own teaching effectiveness.
