for sustainable fisheries, responsible fisheries and environmental management, and

multi-sectoral approach to coastal management. It also recognizes the important

role of the community in all aspects of fisheries such as aquaculture, capture

fisheries, and post-harvest fisheries, hence; engaging the majority in coastal areas to

In 2016, with the aim of the fast and furious university president on his

strategic plan for the university to become a globally recognized research university,

the BSF students and faculty are constantly engaged into research activities to

address the fisheries concerns in Cavite State University Naic, the province of Cavite

and the Philippines. This is done not only to comply with academic and faculty

requirements but in recognition to address the fisheries issues and concerns

particularly on coastal areas of Cavite as well as its coastal areas and fisheries

activities in the field of fisheries and allied sciences will promote the development

and transfer of appropriate fishery technology and ensuring the researchers to

practice the principles of good governance and professional ethical standards in the

               work place.
