Research Thematic Areas

The research activities of the University revolve on its Research agenda with

five thematic areas:

1. Agri-fisheries and Food security

2. Biodiversity and Environmental Conservation

3. Smart Engineering, ICT and Industrial Competitiveness

4. Social Development and Equality

5. Public Health and Welfare

The Fisheries and Marine Science Department research agenda supports the

Research Agenda of the university by aligning research programs mainly on Agri-

fisheries and Food Security, Environmental Conservation and Public Health and

Welfare.
