                       1.3  GOALS OF THE PROGRAM (BSHRM)



                          The BSHM degree program related to the fields of hospitality and tourism

                       education will equip students with competencies that are needed to execute


                       operational  tasks  and  management  functions  in  food  production  (culinary),

                       accommodation, food and beverage service, bar service, events and facilities


                       planning, and develop administrative and managerial skills in a service-oriented

                       business organization.

                       1.4 OJECTIVES OF BS HOTEL RESTAURANT MANAGEMENT PRORAM


                          The program has the following objectives:


                          1.  Develop students to become critical thinkers in integrating theory and

                              practices  through  the  conduct  of  various  research  activities  and


                              extension services.

                          2.  Produce individual with entrepreneurial desire and skills that would lead


                              to self-employment.

                          3.  Produce graduates and skilled workers that will contribute to the growth


                              of hospitality industry and put global technologies into productive use.

                          4.  Produce graduates that would develop appreciation and values for arts,


                              sciences and other related fields and

                          5.  Inculcate desirable Filipino value and work ethics as crucial factors for


                              individuals, national and international development.
