Library Facility and Access to Research Information

Departments have their respective library or reading area where the faculty

and students can access the printed thesis manuscripts and other references that

they can use for their academic requirements and in doing research, particularly on

literature search. Faculty and students can also use the University Library.

Quality upgrading of library services, particularly its accession to support

research by program, is facilitated to conform to AACCUP and CHED

recommendations. Statistical software and anti-plagiarism mechanisms are made

available for faculty and student researchers.

Cavite State University- Naic is also a recipient of the digital fisheries library

hosted in a flash drive, Wi-Fi router powered by the Library Box software and is

composed of the International Association of Aquatic and Marine Science Libraries

and Information Centres (IAMSLIC) (Figure 3.8 The IAMSLIC Digital Library Box).

The digital Fisheries library contains over 26,000 aquatic and marine science

publications.
