                                                      ABSTRACT



               CASTRO MICHELLE ROSE G. and  LIM, JUSTINE ANN S., Bachelor of Acience
               in Hotel and Restaurant Management Graduates of Cavite State University- Naic
               Classes  2007  to  2010:  A  Tracer  Study.    An  Undergraduate  thesis.Thesis
               submitted  to  the  faculty  of Management  Hospitality  Department,  Cavite  state

               Tesorero.

                               A study entitled “Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management

               Graduates of Cavite State University- Naic Classes 2007 to 2010: A Tracer Study”


               was conducted to trace the employment, career and personal information of BSHRM

               graduates.  Specifically,  the  study  aimed  to  (1)  determine  the  profile  of  BSHRM


               graduates in terms of gender and civil status; (2) determine the employment profile of

               BSHRM graduates in terms of nature work, number of years working, distribution of

               respondents  according  to  position,  status  of  appointment,  means  of  seeking


               employment,  assessment  of  present  job  position  (if  employed)  and  business

               performance (if seld- employed), relationship of their job to their field specialization


               and problems or difficulties encountered in present job (if employed), and business of

               the BSHRM graduates in terms of skills learned in CvSU Naic: facilities and equipment


               of the school, technological advancement of the school, teaching strategy and school

               policies.



                              In 110 participants, 79.09% were employed; 10% was self-employed; and

               10.91% were unemployed. With the regards to their status of apppointent, 56.36%

               were permanent, 11.82 were contractual, 10.91% were probationary and unemployed


               and 10.00% were working as self-employed. And their means of employment were

               done through CvSU job fair, recommendation and personal application. While on the


               job relation to the field of specialization most of the participants evaluated moderately
