The researcher used descriptive method of research. The main instrument used

in data gathering was the survey questionnaire provided by Commission on Higher

Education (CHED).

The graduates were clustered by towns and barangays for easy questionnaire

distribution. Social Media specifically Facebook, was also utilized in data gathering, by

sending them the online questionnaire. The researcher personally administered the

survey questionnaire to ensure 100% retrieval.

Majority of the participants are gainfully employed and landed a job from one to

six months after graduation. Most of them are on regular or permanent basis and are

working in the Philippines. Majority are clerks working as a rank and file in hotel and

restaurant establishments. Salaries and benefits play a big role in staying or changing

the first job. Communication skills were deemed to be the most useful competencies

learned by the graduates form Cvsu Naic. Many recommended that the practicum side

of the curriculum should be changed.

The institution should provide better career guidance to help the students in

acquiring suitable and related job after graduation in order to lessen the number of

unemployed graduates, provide technological advancement in laboratory tools and

equipment used in the major subjects of the course and provide tours that will expose

the students to the industry.
