                   OBJECTIVES

national government agencies and the private sectors to source out extension
funds, share resources and to facilitate transfer of developed technologies to the

partner community. Moreover, the CvSU Naic align its extension activities with the

agenda of international, national, local/regional and the University Research &
Extension Agenda through the conduct of relevant education and trainings

Cavite State University, thru its Extension Services, has a mandate to convert
research outputs into sustainable extension projects that will help improve lives of

the people in the community. In 2018, the CvSU extension services initiated the
proposal of “CvSU Poverty Alleviation Program through UGNAYAN 2.0 Approach”

and approved by the BOR last June 23, 2018. This will provide matured

technologies from different fields of specialization in the University to target
barangays or communities in Cavite based on their needs assessment.

Furthermore, the Extension Services will coordinate all the Colleges, Campuses

and Units’ extension activities. Provide assistance in the conduct, evaluation and
monitoring of all the extension activities of the University through its five divisions

                   - Community Engagement and External Relations, Training and Courseware
Development, Technology Promotion, Techno-Demo Farm and Monitoring and

Evaluation. This will also serve as the umbrella of different extension projects from
                   colleges and campuses.

In order to institutionalize the previously mentioned efforts of CvSU Naic,

RDES proposed the Batangan Extension Program and was approved by the CvSU
Board of Regents (BOR) last March 19, 2015. This will serve as the umbrella of

different extension activities of CvSU Naic.
