Table 1 shows the projects, activities and justification included in Batangan 2.0.

Each project has its own activities, output, outcome, and impact. The output

corresponds to specifically deliverable results pictured after the intervention to

achieve specific objectives. While the outcome, is the immediate development at

the end of the project. Furthermore, impact is the overall objective that is beyond

the reach of the project.

I. WELL-DEFINED OBJECTIVES

The Extension Services performs the third major function of Cavite State

University. It links this educational institution with the community through the

conduct of non-formal education and trainings, technology demonstration and

technology transfers to rural men and women, farmers, pupils, out of school youth

and other community development activities.

Objectives of the University Extension Services Office

1. Provide technical and livelihood trainings to barangay communities in Cavite;

2. Establish demonstration areas in target communities;

3. Strengthen academe-industry linkages;

4. Provide income-generating opportunities to target communities;

5. Provide entrepreneurial skills in target communities; and

6. Aid productivity through technology transfer and increased number of

adopters.
