                   Academic Policies

                          A.  Testing Procedure

                              As part of the screening procedure for prospective BSEd students an

                          entrance examination is conducted prior to admission to the program, the


                          Office of the Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) administers the testing

                          process  (as  stated  in  Rule  III,  Art.  8  Sec.  7  of  the  CvSU  Manual  of


                          Operations vol. 1: p.36) then the department chairperson further evaluates

                          the credential qualification through a personal interview with the applicant


                          as stated herein…


                              “Section 7. Dean of Student Affairs. There shall be a Dean of Student
                          Affairs designated by the University President and confirmed by the Board
                          of Regents, who shall coordinate the operations  of the following  units of
                          the  Office  of  Student  Affairs  (OSA);  Financial  assistance,  student
                          organization,  guidance  and  testing,  career  and  placement,  social  and
                          cultural  affairs, student publication  and student discipline. In  addition the
