Headed by RDES extension office in collaboration with FMSD, CvSU Naic
maintained and played its role in the Pawikan Conservation and Protection Project
by educating the community regarding the significance of sea turtles. Presently,
the team is working on the new nesting season of the sea turtles. Together with
the Campus are the following stakeholders that agreed formally in protecting the
said wildlife:

CvSU Naic continued implementing the Philippine National Aquasilviculture
Program (PNAP) of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. The program
has three components including Mangrove Rehabilitation, Aquasilviculture and
Community-Based Hatchery. Aquasilviculture is defined as “an environment-
friendly enhanced fisheries production in the wild that involves the growing of fish
and other aquatic organisms within a mangrove area without cutting a single tree.”
In 2014, a stakeholder’s forum was conducted last June 11, 2014 at the
Campus Function Hall. Among those who attended were representatives from the
CvSU Naic alumni, PNP Maritime, LGU Naic, SKKI, Namamangka, oyster farmers,
coastal barangays, BFAR Region IVA, BFAR Cavite, fishpond operators, LGU
