2.6 Send student to On-the-Job Training to well established hotels and
restaurants to gain experience from their actual work in the
industry.
On-the-Job Training Program Description
The On-the-Job Training is a highly organized training program under
the supervision of an expert. This enables the trainees to make use of their
knowledge, skill, values and attitudes to some practical situation in the
workplace. It helps them to be familiar with the processes inherent in their
areas of specialization as well as the nature of their jobs. This helps the
trainees to sharpen skills and at the same time improve communication and
interpersonal relations. This allows the trainees to easily adapt themselves
to their career and the workplace in the future.
The On-the-Job Training is a major requirement of the University in all
courses offered as follows: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
(BSEE), Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering (BSCpE), Bachelor
of Science in Industrial Technology (BSIT), Bachelor of Science in Business
Management (BSBM), Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant
Management (BSHRM), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology
(BSInforTech), Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCoS),
Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management (DHRM), Associate in
Computer Technology (ACT) and Associate in Technology (AT)
