On-the-Job Training Activities
Listed below are some activities which may be undertaken by the
students enrolled in the OJT courses
Hotel Phase
1.1. Housekeeping
A. Guestrooms
Observe room status, bed making, bathroom cleaning,
dusting and cleaning or room
Turn down of beds
Conduct hands-on bed making, cleaning, dusting and
bathroom cleaning
Accomplish forms used in the selection
Helps in the assignments of chambermaids and room boys
B. Linen Room
Receive dirty linen
Issue uniform, linens and other supplies
Repair linen and uniform
Accomplish the necessary form
C. Laundry
Sort out linens
Laundry the linens
Feed linen into iron press
Fold linens
Accomplish the necessary form
D. Public Areas
Maintain the cleanliness of locker rooms, offices and
cafeteria
Clean lobby, powder rooms, garden and pools
