               3. SYSTEMATIC AND EFFECTIVE PROCEDURE


                       3.1 Periodic Review of the Curriculum


                              The program Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management


                   has two existing curricula, the first one was first offered in 204 and the second one

                   was offered in SY 2008-2009.



                              A  Curriculum  Review  and  Development  Committee  is  formed  by  the

                    Dean  of  the  College/  Campus  to  review  the  existing  curriculum.  This  is  done


                    whenever a new curriculum is proposed with CHED Memorandum Order, upon

                    recommendations  of  accreditors  or  whenever  deemed  necessary.  Curriculum


                    review  is  done  in  the  University  level,  with  participation  of  representatives  of

                    branch campuses offering the same courses.



                              The  proposed  curriculum,  done  with  representatives  from  faculty

                    members, students, parents and alumni, is deliberated by the College/ Campus

                    Academic  Council  before  it  is  presented  for  approval  by  the  members  of  the


                    University Administrative Council. Finally, the proposed curriculum is presented

                    for approval to the Board of Regents.
